About me and my mission
After almost 20 years working in FinTech and Finance, first in London and then in Copenhagen, I realized that I had lost myself somewhere on the way. I had deprioritized myself for too long; my own needs and values, in order to pursue a career and having a family. There was no space left for myself, and as a result I didn’t know who I was anymore.
That realization became a turning point, and the beginning of a journey. What are my values, who do I want to be, what do I want to stand for, what is my purpose? Questions I had never thought of asking before. The journey ended with me taking an ICF certified coaching education, and starting up Ekvilum.

The journey ended with me taking a coaching education, and starting up Ekvilum.
Boost your brain
During ‘my journey’, I realized that the tools for reaching inner balance are there, right in front of us. But we have to make a conscious choice to use them. I have always exercised a lot. It always kept me from going down with stress. That energy and that impact on our brain can be used even more profoundly, if also paired with mental training such as meditation and the power of self-knowledge. You can’t get yourself or others/your team to perform, unless you have the foundation of leading yourself.
The more self-knowledge we have, the broader perspective we get. We become less judging of ourselves and others.
Now I want to make the same possible for you, or for your company. We live in a world which is becoming more and more competitive, where we have less time for ourselves and the people that really matter to us. We forget that all we do is interconnected; our lifestyle impacts our performance and how we act at work. How we communicate with ourselves and others, what we eat, what habits we have (good and bad) all impact whom we are and what choices and decisions we make.
“Life must be viewed holistically. Without a lifestyle that supports and promotes our ambitions and goals, we won’t get as far”
Awareness is spreading
Society as a whole is increasingly becoming aware of this, also as part of a larger discussion about sustainability and what our digital lifestyles are doing to us, how it impacts our minds and brains, our children and how we communicate with each other. The fact that people are becoming lonelier, despite all their digital connections, is a consequence of how we choose to live our lives.
There is a growing realization that there has to be another way, without having to give up our career goals and ambitions. We can improve our human capacity, our ability to make creative decisions, to feel more alive, to be more tolerant to stress- basically to grow as individuals, while making our careers flourish even more.
‘Working hard’ is not the answer to lasting success. People that excel have other skills. I found that the answer lies in mental strength, self knowledge/leadership and to keep being ‘boosted’. There is loads of scientific evidence; there is loads of literature and studies to support it. But what I have yet to see, is someone who packages the three into one program, like I do.
Give your ideas some legs
What gives you energy, what drains your energy, what areas in life can work better for you? Reviewing and improving your lifestyle, combined with physical and mental exercise, will give you a powerful cocktail, which will boost your brain as well as your inner strength. It can take you so much further than you think.
To make you feel and realize this, that’s my purpose.
